Automotive Dashboard Walkthroughs

New users of an automotive dashboard system needed to learn to navigate confidently without trial and error on the live system. The challenge was to make key features and multi-step workflows clear before learners used the system themselves.

Users new to the automotive dashboard who needed to recognize key features quickly and follow multi-step workflows. The walkthroughs were designed to support learners at different levels of familiarity with the system.

• Storyboarded and scripted 7+ walkthroughs, captured screens with Snagit, and combined WellSaid Labs narration with Vyond human-character visuals.
• Applied signaling and modality principles: boxed the item being explained and used short summary labels instead of redundant full transcripts.
• Responded to stakeholder requests for greater engagement with zooms and stronger highlighting to guide attention to each step.
• Refined the series through multiple stakeholder review rounds for learners at different levels of system familiarity.

I delivered 7+ walkthrough videos, refining them across multiple stakeholder review rounds. Feedback calling for more engaging content led to zooms and stronger highlighting that directed attention to each step. Measured learner-performance and retention results were not supplied.
